Replacement of a shell with a supporting section, a white cement rotary kiln of Ø 4000 x 8000 mm on foundation II.

Project description

A new kiln shell with a supporting section with a weight of c. 60 tons was manufactured and delivered by Montáže Přerov a.s. that provided also a delivery of a new supporting ring with a weight of c. 38 tons. A subject of assembly works was unloading of the new kiln shell with the supporting section and the supporting ring from means of transport in CRH Rohožník cement plant premises. Main assembly works included preassembly of the new supporting ring with the new supporting section into a complex and the very replacement of the new shell with the supporting section of Ø 4000 x 8000 mm with a weight of c. 100 tons on foundation II.
